James Shelnutt – Attorney at Law

After receiving his undergraduate degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from St. Leo University, James Shelnutt attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham. Mr. Shelnutt worked as the Assistant Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and won several academic scholarships during his time there.

Prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate of Law Degree, Mr. Shelnutt worked in law enforcement as a Police Instructor, Certified Field Training Officer, Uniform Patrol Officer, Major Case Detective, and SWAT Team Entry Member. Mr. Shelnutt began the Shelnutt Law Firm, P.C. in 2003 and has been serving the Gadsden, Alabama community since.
