Arizona State University – The College of Law
The faculty and staff of The College of Law are committed to providing a legal education shaped by the law’s long traditions, while refining this education to meet the needs of the legal profession and the changing world. The faculty at Arizona State College of Law have argued over 80 cases in front of the United States Supreme Court and written several casebooks used throughout the country. The diversity of the faculty, combined with the large number of adjunct faculty members from the local legal community, allows the College of Law to offer a wide range of courses.
Students may choose to earn a joint degree while at Arizona State University, including a JD/Masters of Business Administration or a JD/PhD in Justice Studies. Several clinics operate at the College of Law, providing students with the opportunity to work on actual cases, with actual clients. Currently, clinics in the areas of civil practice, criminal practice, public defense, and mediation are available. Students enjoy several programs aimed at expanding upon the standard legal education, including specialized study programs and externship programs. Demonstrating the College’s commitment to student success, the College employs a full-time professional through the Office of Student Development to meet with students individually throughout their time at the law school.
