In Baltimore, many people are injured because of the negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct of an individual or company. These people have the opportunity to file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a lawyer in their state. Unfortunately, not all people that call themselves lawyers are reputable or able to properly launch a lawsuit. Membership in the Baltimore County Bar Association is the reassurance needed to insure that an individual is qualified to present a court case in front of Baltimore courts.
The Baltimore County Bar Association was established in 1920. The mission today, remains the same as it was at the foundation of the association. It is to serve as a leader in advancing excellence, ethical conduct, professionalism and public responsibility in the legal profession; to improve the efficiency, fairness and accessibility of our system of justice for all citizens; to increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the profession and our legal system; to use collective resources to improve the well-being of our community and its citizens, especially youth; and to identify and support the needs of a diverse membership and foster an environment in which members experience a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in the practice of law. The Mission is important in creating a system of justice that best serves everyone in Baltimore County.
