A nationally recognized metropolitan bar association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) serves over 3,500 members living or working on the Westside of Los Angeles County. This association was established to serve the legal profession, enhance the professionalism of the practice of law, serve the community, and strive to improve the justice system. The BHBA offers members the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and develop valuable skills. Each member has the option of participating in Sections of the Association. These Sections are organized by substantive areas of law and allow attorneys to expand their professional expertise while networking with colleagues practicing within the same legal specialty. Attorneys who have practiced for ten years or less, or who are 36 years old or younger, may choose to associate with the Barristers. Barristers of the BHBA are offered programs and activities specially designed to assist newer attorneys in their own professional development. Many Barrister committee positions are also available to law student associate members. The list of BHBA member services is extensive, and provides valuable benefits to both attorneys and the public at large.
