In the State of Delaware, many people are injured because of the negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct of an individual or company. These people have the opportunity to file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a lawyer in their state. Unfortunately, not all people that call themselves lawyers are reputable or able to properly launch a lawsuit. Membership in the Delaware State Bar Association is the reassurance needed to insure that an individual is qualified to present a court case in front of Delaware courts.
The Delaware State Bar Association is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence, securing proper legislative reforms, preserving proper standards for members of the Bar, maintaining honor and dignity in the profession, upholding principles of legal ethics and professional responsibility, cultivating fraternal relationship among the Bench and Bar, perpetrating legal history and all other, proper purposes to benefit the practice of law and the proper public perception of the profession. The association also represents the courts of Delaware.
For more than 75 years the Delaware State Bar Association has organized and united legal professionals who practice in the State of Delaware and served as their professional association. The Association offers members an ever-growing list of services and benefit plans. Continuing Legal Education programs designed to improve the quality of the profession, the practice of law, the operation of the courts and the competency of lawyers are also sponsored by the Bar.
