The National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations (NCWBA) is an organization of women’s bar associations, for women’s bar associations. It provides a national forum for exchanging ideas and information vital to organizational growth and success in today’s legal profession.
Membership in the NCWBA is reserved for women’s bar associations or sections. Individuals are invited to become patrons, sponsors or friends to show their support for the NCWBA’s goals. Like member associations, these individuals receive the NCWBA quarterly newsletter and are invited to participate in NCWBA events. The NCWBA’s officers and directors are elected at each Annual Meeting. Each member organization is encouraged to nominate someone to the board. Geographic balance and diversity serve as important criteria for the slate. The executive director handles the day-to-day business of the NCWBA.
